Are there any Home study Web design courses out there for people who work on a mac?

My Fiance is a Graphic Designer. He has just completed an auto-cad course and is looking to further his knowledge by doing a web design course. All of the courses we have seen are on PC??? Also he is looking for home study?


Anyone know of any?

Hi. Well, I am doing a home learning course with ICSLearn in Web Design, started it about 2 weeks ago and its really good. I am not sure if they tailor for Macs, but you can have an online chat with the reps in ICS during Business hours and they can tell u whether or not they support Macs.
Reply:Try http://www.vtc.com/index.php - they have courses on all sorts of topics including web design. They cover MAC OS and many packages like dreamweaver, also courses on HTML, XML, PHP, CSS etc.


Web design isnt dependant on what operating system - you can use notepad.


What is dependent is what packages you want to use to create the website.


Once you are a member of the site (free trial available) which is very reasonable you can view all the courses. Most courses allow free view of first few lessons so you can get the idea.
