How do I use my web layout design?

I've made a web layout design in a photo-editing program. How do I use it? Do I need to know PHP? Can I just use HTML and CSS?

I'm a beginner with web layouts. Any and all help will be appreciated.

Thank you.

How do I use my web layout design?
It can be done with html and css ;)
Reply:You have to use the "slice" tool something like Photoshop or Illustrator and then export it to html.

The slice tool divides the different blocks of your layout into %26lt;div%26gt; that you can then style with css and fill in with content in html.
Reply:Your next step in the process is to slice your layout into a small pieces to be referenced in your CSS and/or HTML.

Many image editing/graphics creation software programs have the tools to 'slice and dice' your images into web ready pieces built right into the program. We use Adobe Photoshop, Corel Draw and PhotoPaint, Ulead PhotoImpact, and Corel PaintShopPro. All of these have tools for preparing images for the web built in.

This is an art and huge topic all on it's own, but hope this answer at least gets you looking in the right place.

And... You don't need to know PHP.

Happy trails,

Reply:Any web layout can be used with HTML and CSS unless it is an animated layout..then I am not sure.
