I am a beginner and i am interested in a [SIMPLE] basic program that lets me do everything create layouts, graphics etc. I've tried adobe photoshop cs2 and i hate it. i've also tried the trial version for dreamweaver and it was complicated. Any other suggestions? Thanks!

There are some basic wysiwyg applications although Dreamweaver is the industry standard. Most people who use it learn it while on web design courses as they do with Photoshop.
If your wanting to get a job as a web designer - Dreamweaver is the best way to go.

or try, HTML-Kit -- also free at www.html-kit.com
Either of these beat the price of Dreamweaver.
Reply:Traditionally Frontpage was the first program people had exposure to when designing web pages - its easy to use but not as advanced as something like Dreamweaver.
